Man Killed by Dogs in Tarrant County

A man was attacked and killed by three dogs in northwest Tarrant County earlier this week, police said.

Deputies were dispatched at about 4 p.m. Monday to a home in the 7800 block of Slay Street, where a man was found sitting in a chair dead in the home, according to a news release from the Tarrant County sheriff’s office. His wounds were consistent with dog bites, police said.

Investigators believe the man was attacked in his yard, walked into the home and died. Three dogs from a neighboring property believed to be involved in the death were seized, police said.
