Funeral Services Held for Ava Moore
Private Funeral Services and Full Military Honors
Mourners gathered Saturday afternoon for private funeral services for Ava Moore, who was killed in a Jet Ski hit-and-run over Memorial Day weekend.
The U.S. Air Force conducted full military honors at the end of the funeral outside The Met Church in Fort Worth.
Ava Moore’s Background
According to a GoFundMe, Moore was a 2024 graduate of Keller Timber Creek High School and had just completed her first year at the Air Force Preparatory School in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was a member of the prep school’s basketball team.
Arrests Made in Connection to the Death
The suspected driver of the Jet Ski, Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez, 21, was arrested Tuesday in Dallas and faces a felony manslaughter charge in connection to the death.
Her arrest affidavit also lists charges of reckless operation and excessive speed and leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
