The chef had to leave to visit his new bar, Stewart’s Croquet & Cocktails, and Jonas and his crew decided to join him for a round of croquet. Jonas and Love played on the same team against friends, and according to Love, “kicked everyone’s ass.”
Inside, Stewart’s seats a scant 28 people. Love has transformed the tiny place, a former Greek grocery store, into a martini bar with caviar.

Jonas and his friends sampled much of the menu:
“We did multiple caviar bumps,” Love said. (We expect this to be one of the “things” folks do at Stewart’s.) “Then they got the potato fried cheese, obviously, with caviar. They got the burger, the roasted mash, the Thai salmon.”
Jonas’ group and Love shared a few orders of bananas foster. Love said they “loved the martini cart.”
