A storm system will approach as we head into Tuesday, bringing thunderstorms closer. On Tuesday, most of the storm activity will remain across the Texas Plains into the Big Country. A couple of isolated storms are possible with higher chances to the west of DFW. Wednesday will bring more widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could turn severe with all modes of severe weather possible.
As disturbances are carried along the jet stream, additional thunderstorm chances will enter the picture by Friday and for the weekend. Daily rain chances are a possibility into next week.
