The Horned Frogs and Tar Heels will also open the 2025 season against one another on Labor Day night, Sept. 1, in Chapel Hill, N.C. for the debut of new head coach Bill Belichick.

“It’s a tremendous opportunity for our program and we’re excited to represent the university and our fans on an international stage,” said Belichick of the 2026 contest.
