Introduction to Terrazza di Triozzi
The new patio for Dallas restaurant Via Triozzi opens on April 23, 2025. The rooftop terrace has been a dream of owner Leigh Hutchinson’s since she opened the Greenville Avenue restaurant in 2023.
The terrace is designed to feel like a coastal Italian perch and has a bar with 14 seats, lounge-style chairs and cabanas by reservation.
We expect Dallas diners to grab a drink up there before or after a dinner reservation downstairs. Or, some might make the terrazza the destination. It’s a stylish place to catch some sun.

The Menu
The terrace has its own menu that is snackier than the offerings downstairs. The main restaurant is known for its seasonal, Sicilian-inflected menu that’s anchored with year-round staples like Hutchinson’s lasagna, eggplant parmesan and a chicken cacciatore dish inspired by Hutchinson’s late grandmother, Nani Angie. Hutchinson makes Italian food “her way,” as The Dallas Morning News explained it in 2023.

Upstairs Menu
The menu upstairs calls for spritzes and frozen drinks, plus pizzette, ‘nduja arancini, marinated olives, pâté, scallop crudo, olive oil cake and more.

Via Triozzi’s Inspiration
Via Triozzi was the name of the street in a small town near Florence where Hutchinson studied Italian history and art. She opened the restaurant after spending time in Italy learning to cook from chef Marcella Ansaldo, her mentor.
The upstairs patio brings to Dallas more memories of Hutchinson’s time in Italy.
“We’re thinking of it as a place where you can escape, have a spritz and some antipasti, maybe a little pizza, and almost feel like you’re in Cinque Terre or Puglia — two of my favorite places,” Hutchinson said in a statement.
Reservations and Location
Via Triozzi is at 1806 Greenville Ave., Dallas. Dinner only. Closed Tuesdays. Reservations not required for the new terrazza, unless you want to reserve a cabana. Prices start at $150.
Conclusion
The opening of Terrazza di Triozzi is an exciting development for Dallas diners, offering a unique and stylish rooftop experience with a menu that reflects the flavors and spirit of Italy. With its coastal Italian-inspired design and snack-friendly menu, Terrazza di Triozzi is sure to become a popular destination for those looking to escape and enjoy a taste of la dolce vita.
