Chuy’s
There are Cinco de Mayo deals all day long at Tex-Mex chain Chuy’s. Start with a $6 regular or $9 grande signature house ‘Ritas (frozen or on the rocks). The grande version comes with a keepsake cup. There are $1 floaters and $1 off of Corona, Modelo and Dos Equis. Get $5 queso bowls, too, including the signature recipe, compuesto, lil’ Chuy gooey and boom-boom pow.

The cocktail lounge will serve a Latin-inspired menu and special drinks from May 1 through May 4. There will be a Latin night on Sunday with a live salsa band from 9 pm to midnight and a D.J. until 2 a.m.

Dee Lincoln Prime in Frisco
The Frisco fine-dining restaurant will host its 5th annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, Tiempo Para Celebrar (A Time to Celebrate) on May 5 at 6:30 p.m. Attendees can expect a five-course Mexican experience paired with Don Julio tequila of all kinds. Imagine courses ranging from aguachile ceviche with madai, coconut leche de tigre, blood orange, guasacaca, aji amarillo sweet potato purée, and pickled wasabi salsa, to lobster mojo de ajo served with fideo, avocado, saffron crema, and chili threads.
