A man was killed after exchanging gunfire in traffic Thursday morning in Logan Square. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Kimball Avenue.<\/p>\n
The man was driving a stolen vehicle when he started trading shots with people in a black SUV. According to police, the stolen vehicle was traveling southbound on North Kimball Avenue when the shooting occurred.<\/p>\n
The victim was shot once in the head and hit two parked cars before coming to a stop. Paramedics took him to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.<\/p>\n
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not yet released the victim’s identity. A gun was recovered from the stolen car, but no arrests have been made. Area Five detectives are investigating the incident.<\/p>\n
