According to Schiller Park police, officers were called to the scene, in the 10200 block of West Irving Park Road, just after 11:30 p.m. following a report of shots fired in the area.<\/p>\n
Officers arrived on the scene and found a 26-year-old man who had suffered a gunshot wound. Authorities began life-saving measures, but the victim died after being taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n
