SEATTLE \u2014 Luis Robert Jr. hit the 100th home run of his career and Colson Montgomery continued his early career heater with another solo blast, but the offense came too late in the White Sox\u2019 8-3 series-opening loss Tuesday to the high-powered Mariners.<\/p>\n
First baseman Lenyn Sosa got the Sox on the board in the first inning of the series opener with a 392-foot home run over the left-field wall, but Seattle knotted it up the next inning with a homer from Seattle right fielder Dominic Canzone.<\/p>\n
