Western Ave., opens 7 a.m. Monday. Besides a main entrance on Western, the business will be accessible via a ramp from The 606 that connects to the Trailhead Apartments building.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant and cafe is the latest spot from Sol Ashbach, Gus Lappas and Ankur Joshi, the team behind Little Bad Wolf\u00a0and\u00a0The Good Wolf\u00a0in Andersonville and Gretel in Logan Square.<\/p>\n<p>But Wolf &#038; Company is different from anything they\u2019ve done before \u2014 and from pretty much anything else in Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>On the ground floor, customers will find a restaurant and bar, a market with grocery items and a deli and butcher shop. Flowers and gifts are also available, plus beer, wine and liquor. <\/p>\n<p>Upstairs, a cafe will serve coffee and espresso drinks as well as pastries and lighter fare. The second floor also houses a bar and lounge area that will be open to all during the day before it\u2019s converted to full-service for dinner. <\/p>\n<p>Wolf &#038; Company\u2019s patio space parallel to The 606 will be open seating in the morning but will be used for full-service dining starting during the lunch hour.<\/p>\n<p>Ashbach said he hopes Wolf &#038; Company becomes a \u201cone-stop shop\u201d for neighbors who want to grab a bite, a coffee, a cocktail or grocery items for dinner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis allows people to have a place to meet up and get a cup of coffee, grab a quick lunch, or take an evening walk and get a full dinner, or if they want \u2026 to do a little grocery shopping,\u201d Ashbach said.<\/p>\n<p>The coffee shop on the second floor of Wolf &#038; Company, 1744 N. Cocktails and full bar offerings will be available downstairs and in the upstairs lounge.<\/p>\n<p>At the cafe, a full espresso menu plus espresso tonics, cold brew and smoothies will be available, with a takeout window opening out onto the patio. <\/p>\n<p>Downstairs, the grocery and butcher shop are stocking everything from specialty flours and aged cuts of meat to popular snacks, pantry staples and booze. The deli will also sell sandwiches to go, Ashbach said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you wanted, you could shop here for the week.
