This will not only result in much warmer temperatures, but also a reduction in wildfire smoke. <\/p>\n Wednesday high temperatures are likely to get close, if not reach 90 degrees in some areas. To date, both official sites have only seen one day of 90 degrees or warmer.<\/p>\n A gusty west to southwest wind Wednesday afternoon will again prevent any lakeside cooling, pushing the warmth up to area beaches. <\/p>\n The brief flirtation with hot weather will be brief as cooler air arrives beginning Thursday into the coming weekend.<\/p>\n Rain chances return late Wednesday night\/early Thursday and continue at times through the coming weekend, but as often is the case during the warm season, many rain-free periods will also be likely.<\/p>\n Moisture continues to flow out of the Gulf, resulting in chances for showers and thunderstorms at times amid an unsettled weather pattern for the Eastern two thirds of the U.S. <\/p>\n Wet pattern continues with a large area of 1\u201d or more across the Eastern U.S. The heaviest totals are likely to fall across the Lone Star state with 3 to 5\u201d+ around Austin and San Antonio.<\/p>\n Blazing heat continues across the Pacific Northwest while the rest of the country is mostly near or slightly below normal through June 13. <\/p>\n Warmer air begins to push east into the Plains and Midwest, but still no heat waves in sight as we move toward the middle of June. <\/p>\n A warmer, but not hot signal for the Midwest and Northeast as temperatures are likely to average modestly above normal while cooler conditions take place across the Pacific Northwest and Northern Plains.<\/p>\n Current Weather Conditions A mix of sun and clouds is on tap Tuesday along with warmer, more seasonable temperatures.
