OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. (WGN) \u2014 Loved ones and close friends gathered Thursday for a private memorial service for Hall of Fame Chicago Bear Steve McMichael.
\nThe man known as "Mongo" passed away April 23 after a long battle with ALS.<\/p>\n
Former Chicago Bear teammates and other Hall of Famers like Dan Hampton, Mike Singletary, Richard Dent, Jim Covert, and other 1986 Super Bowl champion teammates converged on the funeral home at Chapel Hill Gardens West to pay their respects.<\/p>\n
