McCloud is heading into his fifth NFL season. Previously, he tallied 48 career games played with the Cincinnati Bengals (2021), New York Giants (2022-24) and San Francisco 49ers. McCloud has registered 84 tackles, 10 passes defended, 3 forced fumbles and 1 interception, while primarily serving as a core special teamer across his four years in the NFL.<\/p>\n
In 2024, he split time between the Giants (7 games played, 5 starts) and 49ers (8 games played), where he totaled 25 tackles, 1 tackle-for-loss and 1 pass defended.<\/p>\n
McCloud, who added two postseason appearances with the Giants in 2022 and registered a forced fumble, has also spent time on the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills (2021).<\/p>\n
In college, he played for North Carolina State for three-plus years (2016-19) before taking his talents to South Bend in 2020. As a graduate transfer, McCloud earned second-team All-ACC honors from the Associated Press.<\/p>\n
He went undrafted in 2021 but made the practice squad in Buffalo and later, the Bengals’ roster for two games before playing three seasons with the Giants and eventually, the 49ers.<\/p>\n
