Chicago police said 21-year-old Geiderwuin Morales and 29-year-old Jefferson Ubilla-Delgado have each been charged with one count of murder and one count of robbery.<\/p>\n
At around 11 p.m. Sunday, CPD responded to the 7600 block of West Talcott Avenue and found 63-year-old George Levin unresponsive in a basement bedroom. He was bound with duct tape and an extension cord.<\/p>\n
After an autopsy was done on Levin\u2019s body, the Cook County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office found he died of multiple injuries and ruled his death a homicide.<\/p>\n
Chicago police sources told WGN News both Morales and Ubilla-Delgado are migrants \u2014 one of them is from Venezuela and the other is from Ecuador.<\/p>\n
Morales was arrested on Thursday in the 2600 block of North Troy Street in the city’s Logan Square neighborhood, while Ubilla-Delgado was arrested Wednesday in the 6100 block of North Northwest Highway in Norwood Park, about a mile-and-a-half from the crime scene, according to investigators.<\/p>\n
Both men are scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.<\/p>\n
