Joel Hall Dancers & Center Unveils Winter Class Schedule at New Home Studio

Under the direction of Artistic Director William Gill, Executive Director Joseph Pindelski, and Co-Founder and Artistic Director Emeritus Joel Hall, Joel Hall Dancers & Center announces its new winter class schedule at its new home studio at 4511 N. Clark, part of a partnership with Black Ensemble Theater.

The 1140 square foot dance studio features a Proforma III sprung dance floor by Connor Dance. Visit joelhall.org/class-schedule for details, class schedule, and registration links. As part of its mission, Joel Hall Dancers & Center offers classes for all levels with discounted class rates for professional dancers, performers, senior citizens, veterans, teachers, first responders, and other nonprofit professionals. Classes fees are as low as $10.

Under the new leadership, the company entered into a new partnership with Black Ensemble Theater to secure a home studio for the company, celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Joel Hall Dancers with several events throughout Chicago, and re-established the Joel Hall Dancers First Company.

Artistic Director William Gill states, “After losing our studios in 2020, we were without a home until opening our new studio earlier this fall, just in time for our 50th year. Joel Hall Dancers & Center is a staple in the dance world, and we look forward to dancers finding us in our new home, as we thrive in our art and mission. As part of that mission, we truly aim to awaken the dancer in everyone’s soul.”
