Chicago police are searching for a driver who hit a 90-year-old man as he crossed the street in Edgewater on Saturday.

According to police, the man was crossing the street in the 6000 block of North Broadway around 5:45 p.m. on December 28, 2024, when the driver of a gray or silver 2005 Chevrolet Equinox struck him. The vehicle, which had a yellow temporary license plate and a pink ribbon sticker on its rear, continued driving after the collision.
Injuries and hospitalization
The 90-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.
