Chicago Police Search for Group of Men Wanted in 17 Robberies

Robberies Occurred Across South Side Neighborhoods

Chicago police are alerting South Side residents about more than a dozen recent robberies committed by the same group. The 17 robberies date back to October 19, but 15 of them occurred between November 10 and Friday.

In each case, three to six men with handguns and rifles and wearing dark clothing and ski masks exited a stolen car, approached the victims, and took their belongings. Several of the victims were “pistol-whipped or battered,” police said.
