CPD Releases Surveillance Images of Suspected Navy Pier Gunman
The Incident
At around 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, police believe the suspect entered a loading dock area on the north side of Navy Pier, which was not accessible to the public. The area was off-limits to the general public and was only accessible to authorized personnel.
The Victims
Authorities found two men, aged 51 and 47, shot in the head and killed. The 51-year-old victim, Lamont Johnson of Chicago, was identified on Wednesday. The other man has not been identified at this time.

The suspected gunman is believed to be a disgruntled former employee who was recently terminated. The man is described as 6’2″, 230 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.
