A Bellwood man is facing serious charges after allegedly crashing into an Elmhurst police car while driving under the influence over the weekend. Authorities say 30-year-old Boyd Jordan was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on York Street when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the police car, which was parked in a lot at the intersection of York and Vallette Streets.
