GOLD COAST — Tavern on Rush’s famed Ladies Night returns Monday to the Viagra Triangle after a two-year hiatus.
History of Tavern on Rush
The Gold Coast steakhouse at 1031 N. Rush St. closed in October 2022 after 25 years in business when the restaurant failed to extend its management contract. The closing drew a standing-room-only crowd for the final Ladies Night, a Monday tradition in which the restaurant raffled off a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.
Reopening and New Location
In September, Stefani Restaurant Group reopened Tavern on Rush at a new, two-level location, replacing the former Nico Osteria inside the Thompson Hotel at 1015 N. Rush St., steps from the original.
Return of Ladies Night
And now, the restaurant is bringing back its popular weekly Ladies Night, it announced Friday on Instagram.
Details of the Event
The bar at Tavern on Rush will feature a live DJ starting 7 p.m. Monday, drink specials throughout the evening and a grand prize raffle at 9:30 p.m. for a pair of red-soled Louboutin pumps.
Seating at the bar is first come, first served.
