WICKER PARK — A restaurant that serves only smash burgers and fries and is co-owned by a pro-skateboarder and a chef opens Friday in Wicker Park.

The Concept and Menu
NADC, which stands for “Not A Damn Chance,” grew out of a friendship between professional skateboarder Neen Williams and chef Phillip Frankland Lee in Los Angeles. The restaurant’s signature burger includes two Wagyu beef patties “smashed” with onions and topped with American cheese, “secret sauce,” jalapeños and pickles.
Fries can be ordered plain or “Beast Mode,” with cheese, diced pickles, jalapeños, sauce and seasoning.
Locations and Expansion
The Wicker Park NADC will be the burger chain’s seventh U.S. location, according to its website. The company also operates a restaurant at 415 N. Milwaukee Ave. on the West Loop-West Town border that was previously home to The Drop In bar and is now exclusively an NADC location, a spokesperson said.
Amenities and Hours
NADC’s Wicker Park restaurant will offer a full bar and sidewalk seating in the warmer months, a spokesperson previously said.
The menu also features an $8 NADC Burger Jr., as well as a pilsner collaboration with Chicago’s Dutchbag Brew Co. It will be open 11:30 a.m.-midnight daily.
