Incidents Occurred in East Village and Bucktown Areas

Chicago police are warning the public about a recent string of armed robberies in the East Village and Bucktown areas. The incidents occurred on February 19, 2025, at the following times and locations:

Description of the Incidents

During each incident, the suspects got out of a four-door silver sedan with Illinois license plate CF44541, pointed black semi-automatic weapons with blue laser lights at the victims and demanded their personal property. During one of the incidents, the suspects threw one of the victims to the ground, according to investigators.

Police issued the following descriptions on the suspects:

  • One male, approximately 6’00, armed with firearm, 20-30 years of age, wearing black ski mask
  • One undetermined offender, approximately 5’00, 20-30 years of age, wearing black ski mask
