Incident Details

According to the Chicago Police Department (CPD), just before 2 a.m., officers responded to a report that a person had been shot in the 1700 block of East 67th Street.

Victim Information

Police arrived on the scene and found two victims who had suffered gunshot wounds inside a residence in the area. A 23-year-old man was shot in his abdomen and chest and was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A 23-year-old woman was also shot in her face and neck and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
