Friday Forecast: Windy and Cooler
Friday’s forecast is looking gray and blustery with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to early evening, gradually cooling off to a low of 64 overnight. Winds are expected to be quite gusty, blowing at around 15-25 mph with frequent gusts up to 40 mph, making it a bit windy to say the least!
Swimming Safety Advisory
The National Weather Service has issued a High Swim Risk warning for all Lake Michigan beaches from Friday to Sunday morning. Strong waves of up to 10 feet are anticipated, making it hazardous to swim. If you have any beach plans, we recommend exercising extreme caution.
Windy Night Ahead
Get ready for a dramatic drop in temperature tonight. Expect partly cloudy skies and sustained winds of 15-25 mph, leading to a low of 64. It’s also not looking like a sleepless night, as showers are likely to pop up around town.
Saturday Forecast
Saturday’s weather isn’t expected to be as dramatic as Friday’s. Still, it’ll remain cloudy and breezy with rain showers scattered throughout. Wind gusts will dip to around 25, and the high temperature should reach around 69, but the wind will likely make it feel cooler than that. So, consider layering up for Saturday’s adventures!
